With the recent pause on SNAP benefits, the rising cost of food, and many people furloughed or out of work, many families and individuals in our community are feeling the weight of Food Insecurity like never before.

Hy-Vee Budget-Friendly Recipes ($3 or Less!)
During the coming weeks, Hy-Vee will also be sharing on its social media channels recipes that families can make for $3 or less a serving. These meals will include products featured in Hy-Vee’s weekly ads.
COPE Food Pantry 🥕
Located in old downtown Elkhorn, our local food pantry is stocking it’s shelves to help individuals and families that need help getting through the month.
Pantry Hours:
- Tues – Sat. 10am – 2pm
- Closed Sun. & Mon.
Help a Neighbor: Ways to Give
Find ways to donate food, funds, or time to help neighbors dealing with food insecurity.
Donate at Hy-Vee Stores
Hy-Vee is offering $5 and $10 food bank donation bundles for customers to purchase.
- The bags include items most needed by food pantries (canned vegetables, pasta sauce, canned proteins, cereal).
- Stores will deliver all purchased bags to their local food pantry daily.
SNAP into Action at COPE Food Pantry 🤝
Help our local COPE food pantry restock its shelves.
- Food Donations: Drop off your donations during pantry hours at 20601 Elkhorn Drive.
- Pantry Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Food4Kids: Weekend Bags 🎒
Each week Bethany distributes over 90 Take Home bags to kids who need food on the weekends.
Donate these needed items to help fill our pantry shelves:
- Mac & Cheese cups
- Pop top soup
- Oatmeal (individual packs)
- Pop Tarts
- Microwavable Pasta Cups (Chef Boyardee)
- Ramen packs
- Granola bars
- Individual cereal cups/boxes
Food4Families
1.Once a month Bethany provides produce for Ukrainian Refugee families who live in Elkhorn. Help pack food bags and welcome families when they come to pick up their produce.

2. Donate Needed Items
Want to support this ministry but can't be there in person? We are in urgent need of the following items for distribution:
Produce Drop-off: Please bring your produce donation on the day of the event only to the Center Lobby between 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
3. Gift Card Donations
Gift cards are also a wonderful help! We accept Family Fare or Hy-Vee gift cards.
- Drop-off: Gift cards can be dropped off in the church office during office hours.
- Labeling: Please label the envelope with "Food4Families" and the dollar amount.
