Confirmation, or Affirmation of Faith, provides an opportunity for the individual Christian, relying on God's promise given in Baptism, to make a personal public profession of the faith and a lifelong pledge of faithfulness to Christ.  A Confirmation Celebration service is held once a year on Reformation Sunday, the last Sunday in October.

Confirmation is offered on Wednesday evenings OR Sunday mornings.

Though classes are on a very similar schedule, we prefer families commit to either Wednesdays or Sundays.

Wednesdays Sundays
7:00-8:00 p.m 9:15-10:15 a.m.

Please register your youth each year during Confirmation.

In baptism we are born into God’s family and offered a gift of new life.  In baptism parents, sponsors and our faith community promise to nurture and teach faith. Confirmation is an important time in our faith journey where students grow in their understanding of the Word, Sacraments and a deeper understanding of what it means to live faithfully. Confirmation provides a safe place for students to explore faith and ask questions.  They engage deeper in faith as they discuss questions and wrestle with how faith directs their life with their peers.  Ultimately it is about taking ownership of their faith and deepening their relationship with Christ as they publically profess their faith on Confirmation Sunday as 9th graders.

6th grade

Youth will review the Old and New Testaments.  Also included are services projects and large group events.

7th &  8th grade

The older middle school students will dig deeper and tackle thought-provoking questions touching on themes from the Bible, the Apostle's Creed, discipleship, Jesus and more.

9th grade

9th grade students prepare to confirm their faith in the fall and then join High School Oasis opportunities after Confirmation.
