Music & Worship Arts

There are many opportunities to serve in the Music and Worship Arts at Bethany.  

Worship Band

The Worship Band consists of piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, lead guitar and drums with occasional brass or woodwind instruments added in.  This group plays for the 9:15 and 10:30 services, accompanying the Worship Leader Singers. 

Traditional Service Accompanist

This individual plays the keyboard at the 8:00 service on Sunday mornings.  They provide prelude, offertory, Communion, postlude music and accompaniment for the service hymns. 

Large Seasonal Choir Singer

Participation in the choir is open to all people who simply like to sing.  A seasonal large choir  is assembled and rehearses once a week for approximately ten weeks before seasonal events such as Christmas and Easter. 

Worship Arts

Vocalists, instrumentalists, dramatists or dancers may be used as a solo or small group to enhance the worship experience.

Sound Technician

This person has an appreciation for quality music and sound reproduction as well as some interest in electronic technology. 

Lighting Technician

This person has an appreciation for the ability to help create atmosphere and ambiance through the special effects of lighting. 

Camera/Video Technician

This person has an appreciation for the ability to help enhance Worship and musical productions through the use of visual technology.

Visual Technician

This person enjoys working with Power-Point presentations, and has an appreciation for the ability to help enhance worship, music, productions and other presentations through the use of visual technology.
